An exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contract has arisen within the Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) department for a part time (2/3 days per week) HSQE Advisor in our Quarries and IBA divisions. The position will monitor and advise on the company’s Health & Safety activities ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, uphold the company's HSQE accreditations, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement and best practice across our sites in the South of England. The role will primarily be maintaining a strong health & safety culture within our Quarry Products company, managing 3 sites across the South of England, but will give additional support to our other companies with compliance and auditing. Key Responsibilities: § To ensure that the Company is proactive, up to date and complies with Health & Safety legislation, procedures and company policies. § To carry out internal audits of the H&S management system, and undertake site inspections. § Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses. Then subsequently, assist in effectively implementing recommendations and improvements to address root causes. § Promote a positive health & safety culture and provide competent and practicable assistance to personnel. § Provide reports (including monthly KPIs) and data on Health and Safety performance for the HSQE Manager. § Support maintenance of and improve the ISO 45001 certification. Key Skills and Attributes: § Experience in a similar role and ideally industry (quarries and/or IBA). § Previous experience of conducting internal audits. § Previous experience of accreditation (ISO) audits. § Hold a Health & Safety qualification - NEBOSH General or equivalent. § Good organisational skills and attention to detail. § Proficient on a variety of computer systems including Microsoft Office. § Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English. § Ability to work under pressure. § Self-motivated individual with strong problem solving skills. § Familiarisation with quality management systems would be an advantage. § Clean driving licence. The company can be flexible in relation to what hours/days candidates require to work the part time hours (2/3/ days per week). The position is a 12 month fixed term contract.  

Raymond Brown Quarry Products Limited are currently seeking to appoint two Plant Operators at their Brickworth Quarry in Wiltshire. The roles will operate the following plant: Role 1 – Dumper Role 2 – Shovel & Screener The successful applicants will be required to complete daily vehicle checks and ensure that vehicles, plant and equipment are always secure. They will also be expected to complete daily paperwork in line with company policy and take all necessary precautions for the safety of people, vehicles and plant in line with health and safety legislation. In addition, the successful applicants may be asked to complete other tasks, not stated above, to support the needs of the business. Requirements: Previous experience and hold valid tickets to operate various plant would be an advantage Ability to work as part of a team Punctual and reliable Attention to detail Own transport Ability to complete daily paperwork accurately Previous experience of working within the aggregates sector would be an advantage.

Raymond Brown Quarry Products Ltd are seeking to appoint Tipper Drivers. Experience in driving Tippers is preferred however training will be given if required. The successful candidates will be required to undertake daily driving duties whilst complying with all legal obligations and Company procedures/instructions as detailed within Driver Inductions, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and adhere to all associated Health & Safety requirements. Requirements:

• To always be in a position to legally undertake their driving duties.
• To ensure legal requirements for drivers’ hours and working time regulations are complied with.
• To ensure their vehicle is roadworthy before and during use.
• To maintain communication with the traffic office regarding progress of daily work.
• To complete all relevant paperwork correctly.
• To report any incidents and accidents immediately to the Transport Team.
• To always ensure that work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner with no detriment to the Company or its Customers
